I'm thinking about getting Lunar because I like RPGs and it's $15 until tomorrow, but I'm kinda :-/ about this for a few reasons.

1.  I have a pretty big game back log.  I have MGS:PW, LBP, Echoshift and PJM: Deluxe to finish (I'm about halfway through all of them).

2.  I downloaded FF9 and haven't played it yet ever.  So, I already have that RPG in my back log.

3.  I don't like slow combat and I've read the combat is slow and turn based.  For reference, the battles of FF4-13 have all been ok to me, the battles in FFT were too slow (and I disliked that they were actually turned based instead of the "active time battle" style).

4.  I think I would prefer P3P over Lunar. (For reference, I've never played any Lunar or any Persona)

So, should I buy Lunar now because it's $15?  Would I even like Lunar?  By the time I finish my back log of PSP games P3P may be a "greatest hits" and be $19 (but maybe not).

Is the combat more like main FFs or FFT?

In Ways. Download the Demo and give it a go. It is pretty Slow though.

Get it! The game is beautiful and has a good story.  The battle thing would be the only issue i guess.  But it is very good. lol

While the music and voice acting grated on me a little bit in the demo, I deided to pick it up since $15 isn't too bad.  Hopefully I'll get around to playing it sometime this year, lol.
