This is really disgraceful:

Guy had to close down his place due to ban on pinball in Beacon, NY.  The town feels it is a good thing to draw tourists but the law is on the books.  He is close to having to permanently close the arcade if they don't open it soon.

They need to show the guy that brought up the complaint to the city and let 4chan take care of him.  I actually read something about the ban on pinball machines and the justification was that is was a form of gambling because you would get tickets for high scores and such.  This is one reason why city governments piss me of.  They waste their time tackling important issues like this and spend less time on unimportant issues like road maintenance and crime.

There have always been stupid laws all over the place, the fact that the township/city isn't purposefully ignoring this and the city council isn't working to overturn it shows that either they are douche bags or they want to build publicity by making it the arcade museum that the town worked together to make possible.  Probably the latter, considering how often stupid laws are ignored in the rest of the country.

You do not have the right to never be offended.
