Forums - Gaming - Pach Attack: Taxes and What comes after FPS

I'm not a big fan of his new "show" but seems like he has an idea about FPS and why they're so popular.

Also he claims that console sales have peak, so maybe that's why software sales have been slow.

He's not paid for his public comments. At least, nothing compared to his private analyst role at his institution. If he got the latter as wrong as the former, he'd lose his job.

I actually think (like Malstrom) his comments are to influence the news cycle more than be accurate.

Pachter, as a (former?) tax lawyer, doesn't think there will be VG taxes.  As an analyst, he doesn't think the decline of FPSs (they're declining?) is because the genre is getting stale but because console sales are waning.  He expects FPS to be the lead genre going forward.

You do not have the right to never be offended.
