What I mean is try to bond better with various other members of this site. I know it's a good start with some people saying hi nd sharing a link or 2, but what if we could try to get to know each other better (without being creepy) so that we could be one big happy melting pot of gamers? Ideas on how we could pull this off?

Secret Santa was an excellent idea that fits what I want, but we should do more of that type.

And honosexual undertones unintended, but if you interpret it that way, I'm not stopping you with any willing person.

We could have a yearly meetup,  you know like rent out some floor on a hotel in a city and have a bunch of forumites meet.  I used to frequent the Newgrounds forums and they would do that, I never went because I didn't have the time or money but that was back then.  Since this is a VG related site we could even have a lot of game stations set up and face off in multiplayer in person.

If at least the IM worked alright... some forums are really together due to something like it. I don't know what else, maybe the off-topic forums should have certain threads putting together people with similar interests and tastes. It would be a beginning.
