I know its first shipment in 2002 was to the tune of 4.5 million, but I was wondering if anyone had any idea how much it ended up selling in total. I can't find an statements by Blizzard that shed any light on the sales.

Speculation isn't really what I'm looking for here - numbers from Blizzard would be ideal.

Thank you, that's very useful.... though that was only in 2003, and I think it's probably kept selling since then. I imagine that it at least ended up selling out its initial shipment.

Only Blizzard knows how much Warcraft 3 sold, but it could very well have sold 10 millions, since Blizzard games never stop selling.

There was a sticker on warcraft 3 in aussie stores saying it sold 6 million copies worldwide. Thats probably in regards to shipments though.

Any shipped unit is eventually sold (unless they bury it in the desert, Atari ET style).
