Oh, and I'm withholding my thoughts until the end of the month when I should have been able to try Assassin's Creed and Uncharted...oh, and Rock Band. A lot of people picking Uncarted over Ratchet really surprises me. I hope I feel the same because I really liked Ratchet.
Wii is the only system that has a clear winner, imo.
I'd also like to see people vote PSN and Live games. For me, it's Super Stardust HD.

All that streamlining put me in the mind of Metroid Fusion - another blight on the Metroid Series' name. XBox - This year I picked up the 360 again (got rid of my last one(s) because of multiple RRoD issues) for Bioshock. And Man - was the first half of that game awesome. Too bad the second half boiled down to boring collect-a-thons and fetch quests. Its sad that if the game had been about 3-4 hours shorter it might have been my GOTY. PS3 - Lair was lame - not absolutely abysmal as some would claim - but lackluster just the same. But that's been talked about to death. Also, early year sales for the system were sad. |

Best for Wii Zelda TP, even though i was a GC game i enjoyed the most.
Biggest letdown, sorry but SMG, everybody praises it, and i just didn't see it being as good as it was claimed to be and i love mario in most of it's iterations, haven't played the olympic game yet.

Biggest let down: (tie) Lair, because if it was as good as I wanted it to be, I'd be a PS3 owner right now. Assassin's Creed because apparently this dude's genetic memory repeats itself 9 times.
