So it looks like last quarter PS2 actually shipped more than X360 (1.6m vs 1.5m).. This is why I always laugh when people say that Sony should discontinue PS2.. It sells great in developing markets. This also shows that vgchartz heavily undertracks PS2 though I will understand that because tracking console market in developing countries is hard. Great numbers for PS3 also (probably a bit undertacked as over 2milj difference between stock and sell-trough seems pretty high to me). This is also probably first year that gaming divison makes profit because even in past years gaming division has made profit during holiday quarter so this year they probably make a nice bulk of profit during holidays and that will offset these small losses.

i think that they only need now the Psp2 to battle 3ds -.- Psp isnt doing really well but who knows.

Yeha pretty much, I also read that they are launching a huge campaign to bring ps2 to more latin american nations and promote it more...with some deals like ps2  'plus' 3 games for a low price etc...ps2 is THE DADDY! haters gonna hate whiners gonna whine but that's all they do anyways...

for example in this thread, how many people are here saying hey it's not clear, it's not that good, meh, bleh, Sony just ran over someone etc? (wait no? no one said that? lol :P) anwyho the funny thing is so many people running in here to downplay SOny, seriously stfu and gtfo...give props where it's due, SOny is kicking it up and turning things around gradually
