Translated and posted two random chapters of my unfinished book and got Dan Brown. Does it mean I'll be a successful writer? :D

 

Edit - then I tried to fool the script by posting two Harry Potter book chapters with different names and he got JK Rowling. I think the program has author books or at least chapters uploaded into it and search your text for similar structures. Interesting.

One reason why I do this is because my lyrics and poetry are heavily influenced by what music I am listening to at the moment.

I read all the time. Seeing how other authors handled tricky scenes like sex, fast-paced action, emotional stuff that would bring you to tears and such always help me a lot. As far as story is concerned, I search insipiration in just about anything - music, games, books, internet, poetry, TV series and so on. Also since I write science fiction / dark fantasy, reading all the limyaael rants helped a lot. That woman is a genious.

Not to mention I always search inspiration on just about anything. But of course when it really comes to it the best to improve yourself is just writing.

If I was to personally compare my writing style to anyone, it would be J.K Rowling.
