Hopefully, this is true.  I read this thread a couple of hours ago using my PS3's browser and I couldn't even post a reply!  As long as I can still watch 90% of the porn sites using my PS3 without having to update (damn you, Tube8!) anything, I'll be a happy wanker camper!

hope so ps3s browser is almost unusable now u cant even view forums on sonys own site it wasnt this broke before

This would be great.  I have a wireless keyboard and mouse, too, so this would be easy to to navigate and would eliminate me and my family/buddies huddling around my laptop to show them some vids online.  The current browser does work, but improvements are always welcome.
