Hey all

Having kinda recently got a laptop running Windows 7, I am finding that the two main features I am missing from my Mac and Xubuntu are virtual desktops, and spotlight.

So the 1 million dollar question is - 'Is there any free software that will allow me to use virtual desktops with windows 7?'

The bonus question is, 'is there anything available for Windows that even comes close to spotlight in terms of speed and usefulness? How is Google Desktop?' I've been loathe to use it now, I don't mind google knowing what pron I download, but them knowing where I keep it is too far :P But if it's good I will probably get it.

Also, inb4 lrn2google. I did google it and got nothing, hence asking here

Mentions a few apps that are like spotlight, like I said, never used that before, so not sure if that is what you mean or not
