I don't know how many people here visit the site spoilertv.com, but they are holding a best show ever poll contest. In the semifinal round, the 4 shows that made it that far were The Wire, Lost, Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries. The worst thing about that is that The Vampire Diaries actually beat out The Wire to make it to the finals in the previous poll. In this poll Supernatural is currently ahead of Lost, which I think is kind of ridiculous (regardless of what people think about the final season of Lost), but nowhere near the travesty of The Wire being beaten by The Vampire Diaries.

I'm watching both shows and there's no way Supernatural is better than Lost.

The Vampire Diaries??? Seriously??? That show probably shouldn't even make the top 200 shows ever, let alone top 2.

I agree, I saw a couple episodes of The Vampire Diaries and it was better than I expected but nowhere near good enough, especially after only 1 season, to be that far in the contest. It just goes to show how quickly word can spread to a group of people through the internet.
