the bookends are kind of...odd.  but i've wanted a sackboy doll for quite a while now and the dlc is nice too.  for only 20 bucks more it isn't a bad deal.

I registered using my paid e-mail address, and it says my account has to be approved by an admin and I'm in some list or something. Its been 3 days and I still haven't been cleared to post...WTF ?

I saw that thread earlier, and saw nothin about a Collector's Edition.  Your comment about a plushie Sackboy really had me confused, and after I read about the CE here, I reread that thread like five times trying to find any mention of it.

They make you use an e-mail address tied to your ISP, university, etc. because it links your account to something of value.  It cuts down on the number of trolls/assholes, as people wouldn't want to do anything that'd put their account at risk.  It's quite hard for people to simply make alts under this method, you see.

They also enable posting privileges for new members in waves several times a year, followed by a banning spree, getting rid of the trouble makers in the 1-2 weeks after they let a group in.  It took me a bit over a month before I was able to post, and depending on when you join, it could take you up to half a year.  Some people simply never get approved, like Soriku, who applied like two years ago.  He ended up stealing someone else's account.  xD

They do a good job at keeping out the idiots, trolls, and trouble makers, but their methods also prevent good people from joining at times.
