A panel for Infamous just let out at San Diego Comic-Con, but the real news came before the show even started. Sucker Punch is changing Cole's look in Infamous 2 so that the protagonist looks more like he did in the original game.

A few weeks ago, the developer released the first screens and videos for Infamous 2, and all of that featured a drastically different Cole. This version of the hero had more hair, tattoos and a bunch of other stuff that made him look far different from the bike messenger we knew in the original game.

While the game is still in development and will continue to change, I was handed a manila envelope this afternoon that contained two images of Cole's new-new look. Due to the stage in development, I can't tell you exactly what he looks like, but I can tell you he looks more like the person we played as in the original Infamous and less like the man who was in all of those E3 screens and videos.

Bah. I didn't mind him changing but I guess it's better this way. So who's really happy about it?

YAY!! Now all the complainers (including me) can stop complaining. This is great news, I'd feel like I was using somebody else and not Cole in pt 2. Hopefully we see gameplay of the new old-cole soon.

awesome! very good news, didn't Mind the New cole but It would have just felt to strange.

I hope they still have askin for the new Cole that you can unlock.

cool.  i didn't mind the new look as much as other people but i didn't like it as much as the original.  nice no know they listen to their fans.

Im pleased, but i wasn't in rage with the previous change in looks. But i do feel that they need to keep the story together, looks and everything, for infamous 2 to really continue on the epic journey that took off in infamous 1.

I mean, this old new look didn't look at all as rugged and worn out as the future cole did in infamous 1. That old Cole however did have "potential" to look that way. The old new cole was just to boyish, fat and clean to really make the future cole and present day old new cole seem like the same guy.

I hope you can follow what im trying to say "present day old new cole" :D 

Keep the new voice though, the old one sounded forced, like Batman in The Dark Knight. It was bad
