I'm not a pro at determining wether a game is balanced however so they might be right

Wipeout HD Fury. Is a blast in multiplayer, I play it every day with my brother., especially the eliminator mode. (Sort of like high speed mario card if you think about ). Though it's only 2 screen. There's only two people usually here, so works great.

But compared to nintendo, obviously playstation 3 does not have as strong as local multiplayer.

Somebody know if games like SOCOM 4, Twisted Metal, Killzone 3 will have co-op offline??

Twisted metal will have it. They said 4 player co-op both online & offline. Every other game in the twisted metal series has had it aswell :)
