Forums - Gaming - "PC Gaming Puts Other Platforms to Shame in GAMES, RESPECT, and DEALS"

It took me an hour and a half to download the Zeno Clash Demo off of Steam.

Crysis won't install because it's missing a sound pack.

System Shock 2 won't load up at all at a certain save point.

Dark Messiah play's well until I get to certain chapter and then the game goes to shit and won't load past a certain point.

Resident Evil 4 doesn't have mouse support and it was a mindfuck to even bother finding the update.

None of these examples can be related to 'ease of use'.

From my experience, PC gaming has far more disadvantages than it does advantages. When I want to play a game on consoles, I throw the disk in my Playstation and I'm ready to go, never had a problem.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

what kind of ps3 do you have?

I have no interest in what any of that offers me.

PC gaming doesnt offer me the most important aspect to me. Ease of use and jump in and play. And as long as Halo is not on PC at launch then I'll never consider it.

I'm glad you like PC gaming. I dont.

From next year you'll be able to buy computers with decent GPUs integrated onto the CPU. I think they ought to be good enough for 99% of gaming, especially in laptops with lower resolution screens.

I agree on deals, can somewhat see on respect, but completely disagree on games:

Can you get Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 legally on PC? No.  Can you get LBP? No.  What about Metroid Prime Trilogy? No.  SSBBrawl? No. Mario Kart? No.  What about Dragon Quest? No

There you go

Actually, it does offer that... ever heard of Steam?

Ever heard of crashing? Ever heard of mouse and keyboard? Ever heard of sat at my desk?

Having Steam adds little to what I refer to as Ease of use and Jump in and play. How about nagging wife who wants to use internet???

dude, lego harry potter alone has crashed more often on my 360 (4 times, completed the story mode, not close to 100% yet) than my PC has in the last few years (0, yes ZERO, times)

crashing is, in the very least, not PC exclusive.
