Totally agree with the FF13, hated every character in it, hate the whole pointless game in the empty continent.

Watching back the FFXII movie, makes my eyes water that I truly missed Rabanastre so much, I know some people dont like XII, but it was league above XIII in every aspects. It got Balthier, rabbit-eared girls, and British accent subs conveying a story on the scale of Star-Wars.

Am thinking want to jump in the MMO wagon of FFXIV or not, since the trailer on Kotaku is epic and stay to the root compare to another over aching VS XIII, decision, decision. At least Matsuno is back with his Ogre Battle, though Sakaguchi seems not going to come back to Sony consoles.

i know how you feel, imo FF12 was so close being the everything an FF fan could of dreamed of. you just need to look at the quality of the characters.

i'm talking about how ashe was a conflicted women, carring the burden of soverignty, how bashe was a man facing his demons, for the country he failed and the brother who shamed him. how fran was an estranged veria, living a life in solitude for leaving her home. and of course how balthier was a man destined to run from his past, only to be one day be reunited with the father he had once lost.

my point is that they were so deep, so realisitically designed and maturely written and interesting. nothing like the trash we had with vanielle, or snow, or lighting,.... i think i've made my point. i'm saddened that matsuno left square and that instead we were left with the anime sterotypes of kitase and nomura.
