You call THAT living in the past? I'm only 24 and I can't stop listening to the amazing magic shit Yellow Magic Orchestra was doing in 1978 and 1979. I highly recommend any of their work. If I have to pick one song, it's "Tong Poo" off their first album. If that doesn't shake your ass, NQTHING WILL. EVER. Ryuichi Sakamoto's solo work is great too.

 I thought it was pretty good as well :) She's got such a pretty voice ^^ I think I like her Japanese stuff a bit more though :P

I like Aiko, Kokia, use to like Onmyouza, Shiina Ringo, Yaiko (Yaida Hitomi), Nakashima Mika, Rip Slyme, Bonnie Pink.

As for composers I really like music from Iwasaki Taku, Nakagawa Kou, Nanase Hikaru, and of course Kanno Yoko.
