Why would it be "shit"?

Shyamalan is back in the horror genre (his best genre), it's co-written with a great writer (Hard Candy, 30 Days of Night) and it's directed by the brothers who made Quarantine (Remake of [Rec]).

The story is looking good so far and the setting is awesome.

I think it will be great.

He made 1 great movie, a couple of decent movies, and now several bad movies ... Unless this movie gets amazing reviews I won't be paying money to see it

Damn, I think I'm getting the hang of Mr. Shyamalan's writing style!

Might as well throw Saddam Hussein in there and it's South Park all over again!

Well he made The Sixth Sense, Signs, The Village and Unbreakable. That makes four great movies ;)

The Sixth Sense was the great movie, The Village was decent but the ending was predictable from the trailers, Unbreakable was an enjoyable but flawed movie, and Signs was mediocre ...

We also got the bad Lady in the Water, the awful The Happening, and (according to some people) the worse The Last Airbender.

Actually that's 2 good movies (Signs and Unbreakable) and 2 meh movies.  And judging by the trailer, I'd have to say this movie will end up being 30-45 mins too long.  And if it has a twist ending it won't be one of those "HOLY SHIT" ones, but more of a "oh, that's kinda neat" ones.

He started off decent with The Sixth Sense, but he's gotten progressively worse ever since. Honestly I don't know why 1.) They allow him to continue making movies, and 2.) People still see them. I feel like I should make a chart to illustrate this. And I did:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I'm calling it right now: Devil will be the first movie to ever score in the negatives. Hopefully it won't be so bad since he's only writing, but I still have my doubts.
