Forums - Gaming - Netflix Streaming Coming to Canada

http://wii.ign.com/articles/110/1106985p1.html

Finally!!  Will be very glad to see this myself.   It's not stated that it'll come to the consoles but does say "via a range of consumer electronics devices capable of streaming from Netflix" which one would assume would include Wii / 360

ZOMG!

Game over...for my cable company.

Heck yah I've wanted NetFlix for ages. I can't wait to start watching tons of movies for like a few bucks a month. I always was jealous of those lucky American's enjoying that service, now that its coming here I'm at a loss for words!

Woah, how could I miss this thread?

I'm very, very interested in this service.

'bout freaking time!

Wee wee wee, I smell streamlined mo-vies! ;P

And proud member of the Mega Mario Movement!

The Netflix logo is already on ps3's under internet browser, though gives me an error now.

The only issue I see is the majority of Canadians have ISP's that have a limit (usually around 60G - I know that is Bell and cogeco's limit) so I'd expect a few overage charges after netflix comes, and a lot of angry consumers since they probably didn't realize they had a cap :P

Unicorns ARE real - They are just fat, grey and called Rhinos

Actually, that's a good point!  Hadn't considered that.   I don't watch movies often so I'd doubt I'd run into this problem by myself, but if my teenaged kids start using it....

Go with the smaller providers.

Tekksavy for example uses the exact same lines as bell and has the same set up interface. Their limit is 29.99 for 200 gigs or 34.99 for unlimited.
