The problem witht he way they are tackling the debt is the people who are least able to deal with cutbacks are the ones who are getting the worst of it, but this is what happens when you get someone like Cameron in charge, it won't affect his type as badly.

This, absolutely.

it wont affect his type at all

the only reason they are doing what they are doing is because they want rid of the state and to enslave anyone worse off than a certain  income to there capitalist economy, they dont care about the well being of anyone but themselves, they would gladly have anyone who earns less than £10,000 a year lined up and shot if they thought it would give them more money.

What are they suppose to do?

Tax the ones who work 100 times more and scrap VAT rises that effect everyone?

There is no simple solution....and I don't no if you were saying the tories want to shoot everyone who earns less than 10k.  -.-

Yeah sure they want people to be workiing, as you know thats how you boost the economy. I think they are just annoyed with people that have no aim of finding employment...

raise inheritance tax, raise capital gains, raise corporation tax.

significantly reduce all military funding.

I would rather people who dont want to work (I doubt anywhere near as many as you muppets think, remember JSA is barely enough to live on) got a basic standard of living than were on the streets breaking the law to get by.

There are alternative solutions, especially through supporting the public sector, gradually reducing the defiticit while supporting those who need it.

Yes, it would mean those who can afford to pay more are taxed more, but that means we won't be cutting off support to those less well off, the vulnerable and essential services., all those services we need but don't usually think of.

The impact the current policies will have on those hard working people on lower incomes and the pubic sector (who work just as hard as anyone else), will be huge.

Finally, the amount you earn does not equate to how hard you work - a nurse in the UK earnes between £12k and £25k a year, a soldier earns £16-25k a year, a policeman between £19-32k, a social worker between £17-35k. are they not as hard working as bankers, stockbroakers, insurance brokers, hedgefund managers? I think it would be unfair to say they deserce less money.

exactly, the whole capitalist argument about hard work equating to better pay is utter dross and has no basis in reality.

"they would gladly have anyone who earns less than £10,000 a year lined up and shot if they thought it would give them more money."

Is that any different to commies who want to shoot anybody earning over £25,000?

Nobody is asking for the lazy, workshy, leeches to be shot. We just don't want them to be able to vote is all.

Because raising capital gains tax would drive the housing market to a standstill, reducing sales...reducing military funding, fair enough. But wouldn't that put more people wout of work something you said you wouldn't do? Raise inheritance tax? That could drive those that provide the wealth out the country....and discourage wealth from entering....not good. I don't have any great plans to save the country so I guess I should be quite on the matter.

the housing market is fecked because of thatchers misguided "right to buy", we should scrap that and have a "right to rent", including affordable state housing when the private sector wont or cant provide it.

I didnt say no-one would lose their jobs, some people would, sure, but hopefully the new jobs created in other areas will mean overall unemployment goes down.

if people are that greedy, let them go, you right wing pigs always moan about the population size and overcrowding, so there you go.

people will still create wealth here, even significantly higher taxes are unlikely to have any impact on that.

Im not saying anyone should be shot, I think violence should be avoided if at all possible.

I reject the assertion that they are any of those things, very, very few are, and even then, its better than them being on the street.

so you would make them second class citizens? thanks for proving my point.
