The OP is trying to act like this is a huge deal for the kid when it's not. This was only his hobby and he's a rather brilliant kid and has a lot going on other than just jail-breaking. A few years back he won $20,000 for some 3D imaging stuff he came up with at a contest in Stockholm. Don't think him giving up on the PS3 is any kind of humiliating defeat against him cause he's probably not all that worried about. Plus, he'll probably make more money than any of us in the long run. He's barely not a teenage and already has accomplishment a good bit.
