my mam called this right imo, its two institutions who are to blame fer the mess:
BP for lack of safety precautions (i.e. Self Regulation)
and
USA Government for failing to regulate and set safety standards and stuff.
much as I enjoy bashing the British, it has nothing to do with them, they havent owned BP in ages, its owned by USA'ians, and this whole conspiracy bs involving the guy whos name I cant spell is pathetic...
at this point the situation is already an unprecedented disaster and Im losing hope that it will be resolved in my lifetime, and Im only 21.
If there's anything that these last couple years have taught us, it's that we need regulation.
What's good for wall street is not always good for the economy or otherwise. Big business has proven that they go mad with greed and take huge gambles using the people as their wager.
