how about a download-able version of the PS1 classic, not upscaled, but with new detailed backgrounds and character models and new quality cutscenes while leaving the gameplay and handling untouched.

Yup and it wouldn't even need to be as good looking as FFXIII. I just want the block hands to be gone! XD Oh and it would be nice to have remade music (orchestra and all), voice acting plus Vincent and Yuffie included in cutscenes if you have them. ^^'

FYI for the PC version, http://fem1.uniag.sk/Miroslav.Jezik/ff7ncopam.html they already have mods for the character models.

Granted, that's not remade orchestra music (which is what I really want... well I want some songs to use electronics as well). The track "Let the battles begin" for instance uses it. And theres a good rendition in crisis core.

no all ppl will do is say th old charm is gone with hd grfx. 

square shud leave ff7 as it is for at least 20 years more. i dnt want them to waste resources on old games, they shud put evry1 to work on versus xiii and get it out.

edit: xxain is th only one who undrstand how hard it wud be in this thread.
