I recently created a thread on this site asking for some suggrestion of what anime to watch. Anyways I have now watched yugioh, dragon ball z, death note,naruto, and full metal alchemist. I watched full metal alchemist most recently and i i thought it was awesome and sad. I will watch fullmetal alchemist bortherhood once all of the episodes are dubbed which could take a year. But anyways does anyone have more suggestions on a quality anime to watch. I would prefer  it to be english dubbed and not over 100 episodes. Also it would be awesome if the main charachter had a personality similar to Edward (FMA), or goku. Anyone have suggestions?

Eh, it's difficult if you want the characters to be the same/similar similar to goku or ed.

I could almost recommend ghost in the shell (stand alone complex) 26 episode series. Or second gig (sequal, but a completley different story than the first 26) (tied as my favorite).
Though it's extremely wordy like deathnote.

The Major is the main character. Kicks ass/is smart like ed.

Others maybe, is Noein, and Escaflowne. All with girl as main characters though.

Theres ones I like much better than those though. But aren't similar to the anime you listed imo. As they're more serious (mostly), with less fighting.

1b. Ghost in the shell
3. Haibane Renmei
4. Elfen Lied.
5. Evangelion
6a. Death Note
6b. Full Metal Alchemist
6c. Nana
6d. Monster

6a-d, are all excellent in my opinion, but all have way too many filler episodes imo.
