Hey guys, I've just borrowed god of war off a friend, so far ive just got to the labrynth, anyway for some reason it starts up now and gets past the santa monica studios then goes blank, my ps3 does not freeze i can still access the xmb and quit game, its just won't go past the blank screen, every other game i have works perfectly fine and the god of war disc is perfect, not one scratch or  fingerprint, any ideas?? i feel kinda bad if i've ruined his game, but i dont at the same time becuase ....well i havn't done anything wrong

Are you SURE the disc is not scratched? Blu-ray are hard to scratch, but thats exactly what this issue sounds like.

Barring that, you could try deleting and re-installing the game data.  Don't delete your save files though, those shouldn't matter.  Good luck

Problem solved, literally i left it on the blank screen and watched the football,came back in and it was on, nah not one scratch on the disc its well wierd , it has no install data
