So I just got my new 250 gig 360. It's sweet and all, but after I transfered everything over, I noticed my achievement points are missing... I ran through a bunch of games I own and the save data and XBLA arcade games transfered over just fine, but my gamer tag has no achievement points or recognized games that I played. The weird thing is that the points still show up when I log into xbox live.com. Is there any possible way to get the points back or did I just lose 5 years worth of achievement points?

ah nevermind.. Turns out I just had to sign out and back in again after the transfer. Guess I jumped the gun a little there. MY BAD.

This can happen as if you never have loffed onto LIVE SILVER and/or GOLD ever with your account and once you get it setup those achievements are no longer recognized because the system has no way of seeing them.
