Regarding Castlevania, Kojima didn't have too much to say here. This new Castlevania game is being developed by a Spanish developer called Mercury Steam and is being produced by Dave Cox in England. Kojima Productions has made numerous visits to Spain and has been giving advice to the development staff, said Kojima.

"I'm not sure how Inafune is doing it, but in order to keep everyone happy, we're giving a variety of advice, but are of the stance that Dave and Mercury Steam have the final say." Here, Kojima is referring to Capcom's Keiji Inafune, who's using a similar overseas development approach for Dead Rising 2.

"It's definitely not 'A Hideo Kojima Game,'" remarked Hamamura. "Castlevania is different," responded Kojima.

I thought this was widely known already?
