I have no idea how you cannot keep on replaying let alone keep on playing GOW3...

Just get a game on the ps3 sit down relax forget everything no 360 wii gameboy crap and play flower for a minute then shoot some foos head off with your sniper in mw2 relaxing isnt it?

Seriously so of my friends when they found out i got a ps3 and they think it sucks they told me that it has no games and crap and then they said that they overprice the map packs on it(they dont know shit)i was thinking about those words and I realized I wasn't enjoying my games until I just forgot about them or I got Gow3 and said they dont know shit haha

I have the same problem. I've owned a PS3 for over a year, and I haven't played a game in 6 months on it. I really don't like the controller. I was really suprised by Sony that they didn't come out with a new one. It's tiny in my hands. I played Resistance and beat it. I played the second one, and didn't like it that much. I played Uncarted and beat it. After that, I haven't really touched it. I even have MGS4, and I haven't even opened it! To be honest the only reason I haven't sold it is because of the blue ray player. It is a fine console with great games, but I too have lost interest.

You might prefer games like Haze, Lair or Genji then.

I have the same problem here, I've only been playing downloaded games like Bomberman and MvC2. I played Yakuza 3 and beat it almost 3 months ago. That was the last game I bought for it, and actually the first after having it since June 2009. On the other hand I've been playing RDR and Mass Effect 2 on my 360. I think Sony needs to make more multiplayer games on it so I won't just get bored and leave it alone. I'm getting Fat Princess though for my sister's birthday. 

It sounds like you are the problem not the PS3. 

did you get pass the intro cutscene?

I don't know about you but being able to do this is pretty awesome(turn the sound down, didn't realise my input was that high at the time...)

If brand loyalty stops you from enjoying games then you having bigger issues than what system you play.  They are games designed to be enjoyable and MS isn't going to do anything special for you if you don't play the PS3.  It's rather amazing that you'd give up enjoyment of a variety of games due to loyalty to a company who will never do anything special for you and could probably care less about you.  You deserve to miss out on the plethora of great games spreading many consoles.

Brand loyalty is an assumption... No where did he state it was because he was loyal to Microsoft.

If someone had a Sony TV in the living room and a Samsung in the same room as well, having one TV does diminish significantly the potential usefulness of the other TV.
