BREAKING NEWS - Old people are racist

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

These articles overestimate barriers in the community, and incite racism, especially when there isn't enough context.

Examples of context -

- What do younger people think?

- Did non muslims complain?

- Was frosted glass in the original design anyway?

- Is there a mens gym next door/attached?

- Is there a main road out front, or very near?

Geez, as an American Muslim, I've heard these kinds of stories a hundred times over. I'm sick and tired of people trying to oppose their views onto others and vice-versa. I've come to the conclusion that neither party is right in these kinds of situations. Call me out for taking the neutral approach, but I'm just sick and tired of people caring about what other people can or cannot do. As is the case with this thread. If you don't like immigrants changing the face of your country well tough luck because there is little you can do to prevent that, but I do agree that the culture of a nation should always be preserved and passed on to those who enter its borders. Now lets switch up the situation. Lets say that another group of minorities wanted the same treatment to a swimming pool in some random state. Would the situation be the same or different?

Btw, anyone remember that Pakistani girl that was on the news because her dad threatened her for converting? Random question in a serious thread, ftw. lol

It's great to know muslims like you, that doesn't believe in jihad or that islam should conquer all the world. Well for what I read you seem to be the kind that keeps the religion to himself.

Let me ask you a question, if one of your children would like to marry one of my children in the future, would you let it happen even if there isn't any conversion?

What the hell!? Just because they follow their religion it doesn't mean they believe Islam should conquer the world. Other religions don't keep their belief's to themselves, Christmas decorations are hung up all over stores and streets, the US president refers to God in nearly every speech, Easter is basically thrown into everyone's faces.

I don't see why the majority should be making all the rules instead of coming up with a compromise like the pool has. Someone in this thread said that a one way mirror would have been more appropriate, would you accept that? It doesn't hurt you and it help's the muslim customers.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

That would probably have been much, much more expensive

Sig thanks to Saber! :D

I move to your country I adapt to your customs. You move to my customs you adapt to my customs. STFU to the rest of this bend over and take it political correctness. It's NOT POLITICALLY CORRECT to allow hypocrisy. I guarantee that these other cultures countries will not accept my own culture or religious beliefs to influence their corporations or behaviors. Good for France for saying no to burka bull while driving. You want to wear when your not drive go ahead, but for sake of peoples lives yes peoples LIVES don't give us this garbage. As for turbans. I want those turbins tested in crash cases got it.

This topic bugs me sooooooo much. aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh. I've never been racist, but I sweat i'm going to be racist against people who bow to this horrible entitlement behavior.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

It has been said that your freedom ends where my freedom begins, but O.W.Holmes put in simpler form - the right to swing my fist ends where the other man's nose begins.

If decision from the private company:

As much as I hate PC, the company had every right to make that type of protection. It's a buisness decision that will attract not only muslim women, but also those who might like privacy. It's the company choice, and if the people in the council disagree, then they can leave.

If decision by the government:

>_> (I was unclear who made this decision)

Council is a local government. So from what I can tell it was a government decision.

Put me down for not supporting this, or any other sillyness. But hey, all religions are silly to me.
