NiGHTS PS2 Remake "Japan Only"

If you enjoyed the original NiGHTS, the next couple of months will be grand. Team Sonic USA head and original NiGHTS designer Takashi Iizuka spearheaded NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams, which is out later this month in North America and Japan. Next year will see the original NiGHTS into Dreams... getting a PS2 remake for Japanese release. What are the chances of that getting an international release? Or what about a Wii port? Iizuka says:


There are currently no plans for the PS2 version to be released outside of Japan, and no plans for a Wii version either. It is being released in Japan, due to the high demand for the game. So there are no plans for a worldwide release... so far.


So those who really want to play NiGHTS into Dreams... either import or dust off your Saturns!

 

That is just the latest in Sega games on the PS2, that are Japan only, among them enhanced remakes of the original Phantasy Star series.

 

And I was seriously planning on getting this game too.

 

 



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

LOL my Saturn dosen't have dust. Honestly I thought you met the PS2 version of the new PSU expansion. Yeah, that sucks though and especially about the Phantasy Star Remakes. I guess finally porting over Golden Axe 3 is supposed to make up for this. It Dosen't.



Boycotting the following:

1. Yoshi: He ate my car and spit out a toaster.

2. Igglybuff: Totally false advertisement. You can have as many as you like they don't buff nothing.

3. the Terms Hardcore/Softcore... We're talking Video Games. Not Porn.

4. The term Casual as relates to Gamers: We make them sound like outsider's that happen to play games.  If that were the case they'd own a PS3.

5. Donuts.... Beacause I drink Beer...... and the biggest fan of Donuts hates Beer.

6. Boycotts: Their so lame.

Well that does suck for everyone outside Japan. Last time though was when this was announced as PS2 only and not PS2 and Wii.

People are confusing the NiGHTS remake with NiGHTS 2 (which will be on the Wii).
