Forums - Sony - Gaming is truley expensive

I have bought three ps3s

One for myself, one for my brother, one for my gfs son and I plan on buying one more for christmas. I have bought 5 controllers and god knows how many games, most of these gifts. I'm buying a psp later this week and a go next month, my gf is gonna want the 3ds (she says she doesn't but we all know how that goes), she wants the black wii and I am getting move. I have yet to calculate how much I have spent so far and  how much I will spend...don't think I want to lol

perhaps you should lessen the hardware purchases and focus more on games.

4 games a month is not that bad if you think about it

It doesn't sound that expensive. Just sounds like all you gift to people are gaming devices. If you stop giving people $50-300 gifts for every gift giving occasion and do something more reasonable, you could probably easily handle a healthy gaming habit without hurting your wallet.

smoking, going out and a girlfriend are much more expensive hobby's

Currently playing: MAG, Heavy Rain, Infamous

Getting Plat trophies for: Heavy Rain, Infamous, RE5,  Burnout and GOW collection once I get it.

Sounds like your girlfriend needs to get a job (in between being barefoot in the kitchen and making babies of course).

That's true, especially since with gaming you at least own something. You get nothing out of the aforementioned three things other than memories. In the case of the girlfriend, typically not even good memories.

On the contrary, if T is managing all of that out of his wife, he's in the healthiest relationship I've ever heard of. If he's getting head on command also, I'd call this a more impressive trick than juggling chainsaws.
