One Piece episode 405, which it has just been my misfortune to watch. The end of the straw-hats as a crew, which, as far as current events go, is permanent. I've watched a lot of anime and a lot of sentimental drivel over the years (including a lot of sentimental drivel from One Piece itself), but no anime has really gotten me to sympathize with a negative plight like this since Welcome to the NHK

I knew it was coming, of course. I've spoiled myself up through the beginning of the most recent manga arc, but that didn't really soften the blow

I do understand your depression, ONE PIECE creator said the manga reached only half of the whole story.

I think it will continue until the sales are getting less...

Anyway I don't really think One Piece is to long....With using 'to' it sounds like a negative thing while the quality of the serie gets better and better (in my opinion ofcourse)...but yeah it is long for sure :).
