Forums - Gaming - 70% Of Activision's Profit Is Not From Consoles

WoW is a force, but those 70% is not just WoW. The rise of mobile games and PC digital sales also helped.

Around the Network

It will be interesting to see how the relationship between Blizzard and Kotick goes a year into Cataclysm and WoW fatigue starts setting into the devs over at Blizzard.

Really, how many more expansion packs for WoW can there be left? Burning Crusade killed off Kael'Thas and Illidan. Wrath of the Lich King killed off Arthas. Cataclysm is going to kill off Deathwing.

After WoW, can there be another Warcraft game considering WoW has killed off all of the major antagonists?

err...right.  i left WoW quite a while ago but last i remembered everytime i killed a boss the next week i'd have to kill it all over again.  something tells me that blizzard could make another warcraft game if they wanted to.

Think I spent somewhere near 2500 dollars on WoW alone when I was into it...glad i'm not playing that anymore and am turned off of MMORPGs forever because I know I could get sucked into it pretty good again, lol

Just waiting for that PS Vita to come out so I can play some full featured games on the go with that beautiful screen and control scheme...
