Its because he is trolling, he is lying and I certainly think those arguments he makes are to provoque, I doubt someone could actually claim football doesnt require talent, his responses dont give arguments either.

And I really doubt Ecuatorian teams only allow black people in their teams, I think its a lie, you should provide a link.


not so literally, but the one from my city tends to like black people in, and to believe in that. not in that extrme but black people here are believed to be better in soccer

Thats because they are better athletes and clubs prefer those, its not racist to prefer taller people for basketball either

Your opinion doesn't mean anything if it isn't backed up by some sort of factual evidence which you have failed to provide. Anyone with half a braincell knows that soccer obviously requires some sort of skill or else everybody would be able to play professionally.

It's like saying that brain surgery requires no skill when it obviously does. It's a fact, opinions mean nothing.

And I love how you are calling it a sport for little girls when the only person in this thread acting like a little girl is you.

Again, try playing football, and tell me if it's as simple as kicking a ball across a field. And if it's a girl's game, why is it the most popular sport among men in 90% of the countries of the world?

Your attitude gives a bad name to Americans, because it's the stereotypical American "everything we do is awesome" attitude which I know most people from the USA don't hold. It's fine if you don't like football. Saying it requires no skill is asinine. It's fine if you like Taylor Swift. Saying she is better than the Beatles is asinine. You'd better have some evidence if you want your opinion to be taken seriously.

And for the record, I don't even particularly like football. It's more violent than it has any right to be, and nothing of any interest happens in about 80% of each football match (especially between lousy teams). I really only find it watchable if two fantastic teams are playing, or if a fantastic team is playing a lousy team, or alternatively if I am actively supporting one of the teams. But I don't pretend that it requires no skill. It requires just as much skill as any sport.

I have played soccer. It's so not fun and was super easy.

You played soccer at the age of ten. Against ten year olds. Of course it was easy! Fun is subjective; as I said, I don't enjoy playing football. That doesn't mean it doesn't involve skill.

Fun is taste. Skill level requirement is not taste. It's not subjective. I think American Football is a ridiculous sport, but I know it involves a huge amount of skin, and I would get crushed if I tried to play it.

And I'm not anti-American at all. I just don't like the American mentality of "we don't do it, so it sucks". And I say "American mentality" because that's the stereotype.

No, it just sucks because it sucks, not cause all american's think that.

What's with the unnecessary whining and hate about football... It's just as repetetive as any other sport on the planet, but it has one the longest histories in sports and it doesn't discriminate against anyone...anyone can play football as long as they have a ball and something they can use as a goal.

and what I think about the OP

Judging from the amount of posts and answers he's an attention seeker who can't get enough from your insults, so it's better to just not respond no matter how he trolls.

Dude....it's one thing to say you don't like football. Fair enough. But saying it has less skill than hop scotch and is only played by women and small children in the US and poor people is slightly stupid. Do you say these comment intentionally to piss people off or are you genuine? If you ever played football you would know there was some skill involved at every level of the game.

There are many different types of football.

Association football (which is the term I used) is commonly known as football in most parts of the world. But there is also Rugby football, American football, Canadian football, Australian Rules football, etc.

Take for example in this thread when you called Soccer/Football a girl's sport and then still somehow managed to spin that as other people being sexist. Stupidity at its finest. And as much as I'd love to stay and chat, there are plenty of other slow people who are perfectly willing to be baited.
