Forums - General - Safari 5 browser - Who's Using?

I posted in a different forum about safari 5 (and "ClicktoFlash" plugin) making this site easier to view and load and thought maybe it'd be cool to see who else is using Safari with this site and other game sites.

I've enjoyed the new "Reader" feature which has made reading game articles on different sites (like IGN) MUCH MORE ENJOYABLE.  No ads and no mess.  It's not good for the site pushing advertisements but it's nice to read an article without all the mess.

Who else besides me is using Safari 5 for this site and other game sites?

And who is using the new plugin "ClicktoFlash" to block the flash ads all over the web with the Safari 5 browser?

Happy gaming.

im not, and Apple extremely pissed me off with that whole HTML5 demo site. They force you to install Safari even though both Chrome and FireFox pre3.7a2 can run everything on the page. They do not disclose that its a demo site that shows some features that MIGHT be exclusive to Safari rather unlike Mozilla and Google who have disclosures on the experimental project demo sites.

I'll probably upgrade. FireFox has been pissing me off lately with all the ads and loading times.

Firefox plugins have always given me a little trouble when determining which flash to block and what to whitelist.  I guess I'm just not good with using it but firefox is a great browser but I just can't get the flash blocking to work right for me.  This that I'm using now just works.

@Christian - Its banned here to state how to get rid of ads, but there is a way on firefox through add-ons, and don't abandon FireFox yet. Update 3.6.4 will contain the OOPP feature which moves all plugins into a separate process making FireFox nearly uncrashable. If a plugin like Flash crashes, it will just prompt you the plugin crashed and all you have to do is refresh the page! No other browser is this uncrashable.

Pretty interesting and deceitful.  Never came across that before.  I just know it works for what I'm doing and I love the way it works.  Saw that the article did have some updates though stating that firefox and chromium didn't have the latest things to show it fully but that it still would have worked.  Wonder if that would have been cause for that message.  I doubt it though.
