Cole wasn't a bad character, but there wasn't anything that absolutely stood out to me. IDK if the new Cole will be good, but it's all or nothing. Keep the old Cole would have prevented the game from becoming really memorable, good or bad. Hopefully Sucker Punch handles the story and character well.

I don't mind changing the look of Cole, but it's what they've changed him in to that's the problem. Generic, muscly, action hero, good guy dude. At least original Cole had a unique look to himself which could have become iconic.

Otherwise those screens look very nice, as long as they're not bullshots.

I think this game is gonna folloow uncharted 2's footsteps and blow our minds.

Why do people ignore the most recent mindblowing game and keep mentioning Uncharted 2 ?

Unless ofcourse you meant, a similiar improvement like from UC1 to UC2 in the inFAMOUS series, thus blowing my mind.

Infamous 2's presentation starts, oddly enough, with the game's director, Nate Fox, practically apologizing for its protagonist's new look, which hasn't been particularly well received by fans. "We read the blogs," he says, before reminding us that the game is, "at the midpoint on a two year journey." It's a statement that doesn't actually commit to anything, but we can infer from it that there's a good chance Cole will be getting his appearance retweaked a bit before the game hits.

While it wont change his voice, we can only hope that they atleast merger his new look with his old one and makes it seem like the old one has become the new one.

It's like a sequal to a movie where the main char is the same char.. but played by a completely different actor who acts different, looks differet and sounds different.. It breaks immersion.

I hope when they change it again, he looks a lot like the original with only subtle changes.  And maybe they'll even get a better VA.  Hell, I don't know, like the old guy. 

And good analogy.  I remember my first experince with that from the MK movies.

He probably did mean the improvment level.  Uncharted to uncharted 2 is a bigger jump than those of the god of war games.  Plus it's a sequal to a game where the first one was in the generation.  Assasins creed to assasinse creed 2 is another example we can hope it will follow.
