It's all going as planned. Sony will shrink again, luring MS into the Red Ocean of Slimmer and Slimmer until XB360 will start RRoDding again.

Microsoft is already a step ahead of Sony. The redesigned 360 can't display a red ring. |
They'll be forced to send postcards with RRoD pictures to let people understand what happened.

You have no idea how much I hated moving the 360 around the house, and the Wii is even worse, PS3 Slim is the only thing I can move around easily and it's actually light despite it's size. game in console 1 power cord and wireless controllers, done, that's what I like and one thing pro about the PS3 Slim. I hate the idea of moving the Wii so much that I got a second one for the living room so it can be a WiiFit Plus machine. As far as the 360 goes, I was waiting for the announcement to see if I'd own one again, and the answer is unfortunately, a big no.

Because it doesn't have an inbuilt power supply. What a weak excuse, I don't buy that at all

If anything I was looking for an excuse to buy one again, it's the same as the old one but 2 inches shorter, with a big power brick, my insentive therefore died since I have no interest in Kinect.

It's lighter (more so than a PS3 slim) and it's power supply is smaller this time around too. If you're really saying carrying a small power supply on top of your 360 around your house is the excuse as to not buying one then .. wow.
& don't talk rubbish, it's got wifi, 250GB, smaller, lighter, and small improvements like touch buttons, of course it isn't the same as the old one.

I was looking for an excuse to buy one, not the other way around, or is it still not clear to you? o_O; I don't use Wifi for consoles or my PC because of the ping, and don't care about the HDD size. They have not made a big enough difference for me, it's ugly and still eats up DVDs like nobody's business. It's hard for me to buy it as a fashion statement(I consider the original better looking btw) when I don't play FPS on consoles and have beaten all the JRPGs on it already.
If you still don't get it, I was going to buy it as a decoration if I thought they did a good job with a redesign, it's not like I'd pay for Live.

Wow @ 135w PSU! Thats insane!
Very nice, overall. Not quite the slim of slims, but its better than nothing.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

That is why you buy a console for every tv in the house!
Problem solved, crisis diverted, another day saved!
Also, that looks like a small no, not a big NO. lol

Ha yeah I move around my 360 a lot too, another reason I'm tempted to buy or trade for the new slim.
I also bought a second Wii, to act as the "casual" Wii so to speak, since my mom and sister like to play Wii Fit sometimes. Now I can enjoy my "hardcore" Wii in my room in peace without consantly moving it around. I found a $20 discount for it on dell.com, plus I was able to sell the second copy of Wii Sports, and I get another controller which I needed anyway, so I really didn't end up wasting much money on it.
