Not really going on any factual information, but there general feeling I get from the media is that everyone at E3 succeeded, some to a larger extent than others.
- Sony
Many gamer game sites have posted very positive feedback, such as vg247 stating that it was a 'conference of epic proportions.' Basically, these people replicate Sony's audience. Sony has pleased their audience on the most part, and there is defo some hardcore interest in Move. Business wise, a lot of good deals and promotions were listed.
- Microsoft
Without doubt has utterly failed and pissed off a big part of their audience, however COD, Halo and Gears fans are likely to be satisfied. These 3 games take up a large part of MS's current audience. I'm also seeing a lot of positive feedback from more mainstream, non-gaming press - the audience MS wants to have next. So, i'd say the reaction that matters is good.
- Nintendo
Basically please everyone here. The gaming press like it, the mainstream will like it, the consumers will like it. No real faults, no more needs said.
So basically, these are the opinions that I think matter. I think it's fair to say at E3 that people take personal opinions way too seriously. It's good to look at the bigger picture.
