No, it doesnt matter if it has natal or what ever they call it now included a price increase wont increase sales.

Sony's most dangerous opponent is themselves.

No.  Microsoft can't exactly steal PS3's thunder when they're releasing their version of the Slim a year AFTER Sony released theirs.  Not to mention that it doesn't come with a $100 price drop like the Slim did.

How will Sony respond to what?

Sony has to be thrilled at this moment.

barring any significant announcements by Microsoft, 2nd place is a lock for Sony without dipping below the $300 mark.

̶3̶R̶D̶   2ND! Place has never been so sweet.

Hel no!!! Sony just stole 360's thunder by announcing Sly HD remakes lol.

I think the slim will increase sales for a few weeks, but it will need a price cut, especially outside of the U.S to have the same effect that the PS3 slim had.

Natal on the other hand should help, but that will depend on the price also. Sony wont need to worry because they have all the same bases covered that Microsoft have covered, they both have; Motion, HD, 1st and 3rd party Exclusives, and online. So i think the are both in the same boat heading down the same creek.

No, not with the prices I have seen for the Kinect bundles.
