Will 360 harddrives somehow still be interchangeable between old 360's and new ones?

If I buy a slim 360 will I be able to transfer all my stuff from my old 360's Harddrive to the new one even if i've already transfered once before form a 20BG to a 120GB?

Is there gonna be just one version of the 360 slim? (would be a stupid move by MS if they did this)

I imagine the pricecuts they have right now are just to get rid of the old 360's

Stock clearance. X360 actually will have it's price increased by $100. Smart move MS.

It appears the new 360s will be at the original price, so I'm guessing its a clearance move.  Should give a boost but it could initially actually slow sales of the 360Slim as people buy up the cheaper old models first instead.

This is exactly what they did before the 60GB Pro became the norm.  They need to clear the old product before they can reduce the price of the new product, yet they know some people would want the new product and it is cheaper to produce.

So new at $299
Elite at $249
Arcade at $149

After Elite and Arcade gone they can introduce a new Arcade SKU and new SKUs with Kinect in the box.  Kinect will never be part of the unit.  The device needs to be separate an unobtrusive under the TV.

Yep. After that all you got will be a $299 X360. Most likely we'll see a cheaper SKU ($199) release before holidays though.

June 16 and 17th Toys R Us also throwing in a $25 gift card with an Xbox purchase.

$149 Arcade 360 ($50 price reduction). 

$249 for an Elite 120GB is a good price. ($50 price reduction).

$299 for a 250GB which includes Wi-Fi must be a better deal than an Arcade 360. 

360 sales will not gain much momentum from these small price cuts.

As far as I can see. Elite 120 gb was $299. Add on a Wifi for $80 and it's $379. #

New 360 is smaller. Noiseless. 250 gb HDD and Faster built in Wifi than any PS3 console and it's $299. A saving of around $150. 

Very smart move by M$.

EDIT:

 In UK, the PS3 Slim 120 gb is £229 RRP. The new 360 is releasing at £199 RRP. The 250 gb PS3 is £279 RRP.

M$ have priced amazingly.
