Unfortunately my much better thread was locked in favor of this incorrectly titled fail-thread, but what can you do, the almighty mod has spoken.

So allow me to repost the nice pictures from my much superior, correctly titled but still closed non-fail-thread:

Has anybody else encountered people saying Kinect like K(eye)nect. Tons of people in my office say it like that and it kills me. It's not a great name either way.

I wish Microsoft could have incorporated something todo with "3d" in the name, cos I think that would have done a lot to stop people saying "IT'S JUST AN EYETOY!!!!!!!"

I'm guessing the tools that say K(eye)nect wouldn't be a customer no matter what MS called it so I doubt MS actually cares.

Mostly, but one specific guy is so keen for k(eye)nect that he is planning on buying the xbox-kinect bundle, even though he already has an xbox
