This rumour seems pretty far off...if true it will almost be certain to fail.

Maybe there was a misinterpretation of the "$" by the reader. Maybe it's $89 in a different font? I'm just saying that $189 seems too high for a periphial. I understand the logic. You only need 1 Kinect. Which is about the same price of 3 Riimotes WM (no chucks, prices are cdn) ok a bit more. Still though it's fact that human consumer habits prefer smaller bites than big chunks when it comes to opening their wallet. 

Just to expensive. I'm sure this much be a mistake. It's gotta be. Can MS be that stupid?

I wouldn't pay anything over 60 bucks probably. If Move is decent I may get it. But they need a decent set of launch titles. Hopefully they will be better than this.

i don't think it's stupid, remember this is a 3d camera, even Sony was testing this very same technology out. Microsoft liked it so much they bought the technology to bring it's control capabilities not just for the xbox360 but also for the PC.

the camera that Microsoft is using is very High Quality, I think many are trying to get something for nothing, like you I don't want to pay high prices, no one does but i do understand why it's priced that way.
