Forums - Sony - PS MOVE - gives option for single motion control or two handed

What I saw was games that would never fly on the Wii. Archery looks bad. The sword fighting was very porrly done. I mean, why do you have a baseball cap with a gladiator weapon. Wii Sports Resort's sword play had them using Kendo sticks, so it worked. But not only do they now look out of place, but they are fighting with real weapons. Not sure how that will play out. The rest either looked just Ok or didn't seem like fun. The menus have no feeeling to them. Also, where is 4 player Archery?

Move Party looks awful. Everything about it is bad. The minigames look too weird and dont look lik they'll be a lot of fun for more then 10 minutes. The announcer was dumbs. The whole set up of the game sticks.

I do not see Move lighting fires for Sony. I think Nintendo's disruption is a success.

I agree with the first paragraph... it looks bland and generic.

But disagree with the second one, I liked Move Party... there are some minigames the wii was never capable of doing and it looks cute at least... it has personality, unlike Sports Champions

I havent seen enough of move yet to decide, but i dont think sony wanted to compete with nintendo for motion controls, i think they were just playing catch up so they wouldnt be left out of the market. but i did think that archery thing looked quite good, but i still wouldnt play it for more than 30 mins.

oh and to the comment about this 'not flying' on the wii, thats not true, the wii has dozens of trash games, you only need to look at the 'invisible drums' last year to see what nintendo are willing to push, in comparasion, the archery isnt as bad as that.

I am not sure what this does that other games on other systems already does.

This is especially true if you only use one controller. The two controller set up is a unique selling point.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

The line-up actually shown at E3 looks quite better than what we initially knew and the atmosphere tries to be different. Maybe not masterpieces, but not meh either.

Nintendo will still be king of motion control, but Sony will get its niche and won't have to suffer anymore from inferiority complex. OTOH Kinect's launch titles are so uninspired and they do so little to tap the system for its different capabilities that I'm disappointed.

Wait, Nintendo won't be king anymore, let's check the new equipment:

- Wii has motion control

- PS3 has motion control and giant enemy crabs

PS3 wins.
