PSP Owners: UMD vs. Downloading

I'm down with UMD! 42 52.50%

Keep it on the Download!! 38 47.50%

Total:80

how about the fact that a downloaded game can be registered on up to 5 systems allowing both of my systems to play monster hunter freedom unite with only one purchase, or i can face my friend in dj max because its on both of my systems, or me and my gf can go dungeon crawling on one purchase of untold legends.

so for me it goes do digital download.

I only brought a PSP 6 months ago, and specifically set out to get a PSP-3000 model for a few reasons.

2) I didnt want to also invest in buying more memory cards when they were full

you do know that buying a memory card for the psp 3000 is more expensive than buying the same sized memory card for the pspgo right??? and also m2 memory cards have reached a higher capacity.

Nope, but it doesnt matter either as with my games being mainly UMD I havent filled the one card I have :)

The best way to find out if you can trust somebody is to trust them.

.. In fact, the ONLY thing we all seem to unanimously agree upon is that the PSP is the greatest portable gaming device, ever...

I disagree.

OT: UMD.

For PSP I prefer downloading. I store all my games on my PSP and I can play them all without having to open the UMD tray. Much more convenient..

I mainly use my psp for vids, comics and music occasional streaming from PS3

when it comes to games though, 6 of one and 1/2 dozen of the other

both have upsides and downsides imo

Proud Sony Rear Admiral

I will say this, though-  MGS Peacewalker runs much more efficiently if you download it.  Unfortunately, I bought it on disc.  Still an awesome, awesome game so far, though.

Call me old fashioned but I like umd and having a physical copy.
