Forums - Gaming - 3rd party exclusive r dieing on the PS3

Not sure how the individual games are doing, but HD gaming is killing the companies. They focus too much on products with high cost and diminishing sales. A lot of companies recorded loses this last fiscal year (heck, Capcom has a negative balance in Retained Earnings. That's bad). I think the problem is they are focusing on making games that cost they a lot more. They have to get out of drive themselves out of business.

It has agent, which is the biggest third party exclusive that I can think of on any system.

MGS4 says hi, and FF Versus XIII is next *cross fingers.

I meant up coming, though it does show that ps3 has had the biggest third party games

Of course it does if we ignore gears...ME etc.

So its this debate again *glances at my PC collection*

There's something about 360 owners knowing that 360 and PC are both MS, yet seems to neglect PC.

right now the trend Sony is heading is concentrating on first party which is a good thing since first party games

do well on the PS3 currently

  • Kingdom Under Fire II (Blueside) published by MGS
  • Otomedius Excellent (Konami)
  • Portal 2 (Valve)

They are dying on PS3/X360 but that is a good thing. IMO it should be Microsoft/Nintendo/Sony Published games only that should even be exsclusives and those should be the games that show what the system is capable of.

Little more needs to be said than this.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

how can u think its the best when we seen barely nothin about it

I didn't say best, I said biggest. And a new IP from the makers of GTA is certainly bigger than any third party exclusives I can think that MS or nintendo have.

Gears of War...

...is not exclusive?

Gears of War 2 is though.

MS has lost twice exclusivities after release than sony that didn 't even paid anyone because everyone believed that  ps3 will win the generation for sure , anyway as  long as  many multiplatform games comes to ps3  i don 't have any problem with it

I will have to see it to believe it.
