I personally felt like Heavy Rain had a very weak storyline. That is not to say I didn't like the story, I just thought the loopholes and plot errors were one too many. And there were mysteries that were left unsolved which I felt needed to be cleared up. It was an amazing game nontheless.
Story wise, nothing comes even close to MGS4 in video games.
