No it's not.

That was not useful. How is it less a western RPG than, say, Ultima VIII or Fallout 3?

This has been discussed many many times and I don't feel like going over it again. Demon's Souls is a JRPG.


I was reluctant on adding DS on my post because it's an RPG developed by a japanese company but I do agree with WereKitten.

It shares many similarities with most WRPGs like how your choices affect your playthrough of the game, having the Freedom to tackle any world you want and many more. plus it has a very western-ish setting and feel in it for a JRPG.
