Because most japanese game storylines are nonsense with innappropiate banter for the situations.

At the risk of sounding racist I'm going to agree. I do love some of their horror though, because they have the balls to shock you in a way the west seems to have forgotten. However between the weird fetishes, kiddie porn, sex simulators, and xenophobia, being an American just doesn't seem as bad in comparison.

 

I've never travelled to a place where I was treated as poorly as I was in Japan. Odd considering their fetish for our culture.  Even "Communist" China is far more welcoming.
