Solid Snake is more badass by a tiny margin. Big Boss is almost just as badass.

Liquid have the dominant genes. Solid was given the recessive genes. And, Solidus was given both dominant and recessive, which made him the perfect clone.

I like Naked Snake better but Solid kicked his ass every game lol. MGS3 is still my favourite
