are we talking the ogre or the behemoth level...? because that didnt seem to help me at all against the behemoth when i did it the other day.

Talking about the last big guy you fight before the demo ends. I wailed on him for a minute or two to no avail, then had to run and get life from one of the vases. Happened to break the blue one which filled my blue meter. So I ran up to the big guy, hit RB, did the big explosion attack, everyone thanked me for saving them... and the demo ended. Worked for me. *shrugs*
